What is Ohm's Law?

Ohm's Law is a fundamental principle of electrical engineering discovered by German physicist Georg Ohm in 1827. It states that the electric current ($I$) flowing through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the voltage ($V$) across the two points, and inversely proportional to the resistance ($R$).
